Last post
As the title suggests, this is going to be my last post. I’ve actually been contemplating ending this blog for awhile, but whenever I started to write my “last post” I felt ambivalent. So, I’ve been blogging on and off for the past couple of months but to be honest, my heart just isn’t in it. I don’t have the urge to share my life and/or document it in this...

Oh! Oh!
I forgot about this:
I got too excited while opening it an accidentally bent it, but I still think it’s awesome, mmmk? :)
Random happenings
It’s became Fall!
The aforementioned hunt for the gold shoes ended in success!
And, of course, what would my life be without more weddings?
Am I right?
Wasn’t the bride seriously stunning? She wasn’t even posing for this pic, I was playing paparazzi.
Just a couple scenes. Stay tuned.
Lincoln Park Apple Store Grand Opening
Met Rahm Emanuel! (Please excuse the busted pic of me)
More Rahm Emanuel.
Stood in a crazy line… in the rain. (Bummed we didn’t get to keep the umbrellas)
Cheered and high fived the Apple Employees as they ran past.

Family, old and new
Do you know how hard it is to find cute gold heels at the end of September? In case you don’t, let me just tell you that it’s slim pickings. The options I found were either $100+ or looked like, what Kyle so affectionally called them, “hooker heels.”
But, alas, I needed a pair of gold heels for my friend’s wedding in two weeks. Do you know how expensive wedding...
Me: Do you like these save the date cards? Or these?
(pause)
Me: I think I like these the best.
Him: Then I like those, too.
Me: Yea, but… do you really like them? Do like them enough to send them out to all of your friends and family?
Him: They are going to say that I’m marrying you, right?
Me: Yea.
Him: Then I love them.

In which, I attempt to garden.
The couple who lived downstairs from Kyle and I moved out, so, we inherited their garden. They have about 4 varieties of tomatoes (including cherry tomatoes), squash, cucumbers, and banana peppers. Pretty awesome deal if you ask me.

The Dress
Me: I’m just afraid that I’ll find dresses that I like, but not The Dress.
My sis: Wedding dresses are different than other dresses. They’re special, and magical. There is one Dress out there for every girl that is made just for her. One that makes her feel her most beautiful.
My sis/maid of honor having one of many conversations with me that calm my nerves.

When Being Healthy Sucks →
nutritionista:
You’ve all heard the reasons why striving for health is awesome (“I’ve never felt better! I have so much confidence! The sun is always shining and birds are always chirping!” etc.) And all those reasons are definitely valid — most of the time. But this is real talk: Sometimes, being healthy just sucks. Click the link to find out why, and why it’s still worth it in the end.

Our wedding location! We knew that we wanted to have our wedding in Chicago. What better place to celebrate our love than in the city that we love, and in the city where we fell in love, right?
We were researching different venues and thought that we owed it to our great city of Chicago to have our wedding in a building rich with Chicago history, and at a location that has a meaning and purpose...
