Long before I was engaged I was drawn to this dress. I’d probs half to chop the dress in half in order for it to be the right length on my 4’11” body, but I love it. My only reservation is that it’s too trendy.

Ahhhhh! Yes, it’s true! He proposed! It wasn’t sunk in yet! I’m going to be a wife…his wife! I really couldn’t be happier. My family was all there. We cried, we laughed, we toasted with champagne, we had a great moment. It was a memory I will truly cherish forever. My life is sure changing!

So, that’s my big news!!!!!!!

A very Vegas Thanksgiving

In the spirit of celebration and soaking up every last drop of family time before my sister leaves for New Zealand ~~forever~~ (Mom, don’t freak out) for a little over a year, we decided what better place to make the most of things other than Vegas! So, we’re packing up and flying out to Vegas tomorrow for a fun-filled long weekend. A little unconventional, yes, but we’ve never been keen on a turkey-with-all-the-trimmings dinner. One year we had filets and crab legs.

I’ve heard Vegas is fun over Thanksgiving weekend. Any recs?
